LES ÉDITIONS DE TAPIS is a French-based studio designing fine crafted rugs. Foun­ded in 2020 by multidisciplinary designer Tho­mas Coccimiglio, the studio was born from an obsession with craftsmanship and a love for art and textiles. Unveiling collectible collections illustrating a certain idea of the French way of life: Haute but effortless, spirited but always elegant,

each rug is knotted and finished in India and Nepal, where craftsmanship and traditions are passed down from one ge­neration to the next.

The materials used for our creations are selected with thoughtful discernment and with close attention to their inherent qualities: wool, silk, cashmere & wild fibers, bringing out the best of our designs & coloring.

Each unique piece, patiently fashioned and hand knotted by our artisans, embodies Thomas’s sensitive vision of luxury: rooted in the enduring history of the great textile houses of the twentieth century, yet full of imagination and resolutely of its time.

To pre­serve the distinctive and singular nature of the studio’s creations, each design in the collection is issued in a limited edition of just twenty-five pieces, delivered signed and numbered.
